1.5.2022 – 6.5.2022: 2531st shankara Jayanti mahotsavam: veda parayanam, acharyal puja
Vaidikas from many locations are virtually joining in for this event, which is telecast live (via Zoom) on the Asthika Dharmam YouTube channel. Budget: ₹6 lakhs (approx.), for Chaturveda Parayanam, Acharyal Puja (all six days) and procession (on Shankara Jayanti day). We pray for Acharyal Anugraham for the entire nation and the world to tide over this pandemic completely and for health and well-being of all.
SRI JAGADHGURU VEDA PARAYANA TRUST’S EFFORT
The trustees, led by Brahmashri K. Y. Bharaneedhara Sastrigal, secretary of the above trust and a popular exponent of upanyasas, are pioneering an effort to support the vaidikas and pray for the well-being of all during this pandemic.
With the blessings of Moolāmnāya Sarvajña Kanchi Kamkoti Pīṭhādhipati, His Holiness Sri Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal, the trust is raising funds for Chaturveda Parayanam and Acharyal puja on the very special occasion of Shankara Jayanti.
ABOUT Sri JagadHguru Vedaparayana Trust
Established by the Moolāmnāya Sarvajña Kanchi Kamkoti Pīṭhādhipatis, HH Sri Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal and HH Sri Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal two decades ago, the trust has been conducting various dharmic activities including:
- Veda pārāyanams in places such as Prayagraj, Rameswaram, etc
- Ghana and Samhitā pārāyanams at various places
