Background
It is necessary for the students studying the Veda-s – which are the source text of our Sanatana Vaidika Dharma Sampradaya – alongwith doing the adhyayana of its oral form, to acquire samskara-s from various vidya-s such as shastra-s, purana-s etc for understanding the Veda-s and implementing them.
With the intention of the abhivriddhi of this vidyabhyasa etc, the institution “Sarvajnatma Pratishthanam” has been created in the name of Shri Sarvajnatmendra Sarasvati Shricharana – the 3rd Jagadguru of our Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Moolamnaya Sarvajna Peetam – with the blessings of Jagadguru Shri Shankara Vijayendra Sarasvati Shankaracharya Swamigal.
Significance of this cause
With the anugraha of the Shri Kamakoti Peetadhipati, as the first public programme of Sarvajnatma Pratishthanam, a “Vaidika Samskriti Shibiram” is to be conducted for Veda Pathashala students at Shri Shankara Matam’s Kumbakonam Branch for three days concluding with the upcoming Aradhana Tithi of Shri Sarvajnatma Shricharana (2025 May 23 Friday to 25 Sunday).
In this, classes on topics such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Sangita, Samskrita language, Bharatiya scripts, Neeti texts, Sthala Purana-s etc will be conducted.
We request the astika general public dedicated to Sanatana Dharma and the Vedas to contribute towards this programme which is necessary to develop Veda vidya as a multifaceted education, and to thereby obtain immeasurable punyam!
