Samprokshanam Support for very old dilapidated vishnu temple in south tamil nadu

- A sum of ₹1.5 lakhs has been transferred to Shri. Subbiah Gurukkal (who has been coordinating this locally) for purchases to be made for the Samprokshanam, in 2 tranches of ₹0.8 lakhs and ₹0.7 lakhs
- Since we have many of our kind donors expressing interest in this campaign, we have extended the target to ₹3 lakhs to include sambavanai (honorarium) to the Aacharyas conducting the Samprokshanam.Â

Background
The sacred and ancient Sri Sundaravalli , Soundaravalli Sametha Sri Sundararaja Perumal Temple, situated in Sandhanavur village near Ayudayar Kovil in south Tamil Nadu, is dilapidated and the moolavars (main idols) have been in a shed for years.Â
For over five years, the moolavar deities of Sri Sundararaja Perumal and Sri Sundaravalli Thayaar have been without proper shelter. After years of continuous effort by devotees, the temple has finally reached the stage of conducting the Maha Samprokshanam (Kumbabhishekam).
The primary donor for the event had withdrawn their support after the date was fixed, and a local devotee reached out to us for support.Â

To complete the Maha Samprokshanam and associated rituals, we humbly request contributions towards the following:
Homa Dravyam (Offerings for Homam) – ₹50,000
Groceries (Maligai) – ₹25,000
Ashta Bandhanam (Sacred Fixing Ritual for Deities) – ₹20,000
Flowers (Pushpam) – ₹25,000
Clothing for Deities (Vastram) – ₹20,000
Paricharaka (Service Support) – ₹20,000
Thaligai (Food Offering/Naivedyam) – ₹25,000
Aacharyas Sambavanai (13 of them)- ₹165,000
Each of these is vital for the ceremonies and for restoring the temple to its rightful glory. By contributing, you are helping provide a proper abode for Sri Sundararaja Perumal and Sri Sundaravalli Thayaar, ensuring the preservation of an ancient dharmic heritage in rural Tamil Nadu.
