By the enthusiasm and encouragement of the astikā-s, the Village is getting prepared for the Holy agniṣṭomasomayāga which will be held in the six days of vasanta-rtu which will commence from vaiśākha-śukla-daśami (30/4/23-6/5/23).
The yajamāna of this yāga is Brahmaśrī Kombankulam Vishnu Namboothiri who is a native of the village, a descendant of viśvāmitrā gotra, follower of baudhāyana sutrā, and is a well learned yajurvedī. Vishnu namboothiri is also a renowned grammarian, a great poet and performer of nityagnihotra.
