Jyautisha, the Bharatiya study of celestial lights, is more than astrology. It’s a sophisticated system of mathematical astronomy that defines time through celestial movements. Panchanga-s are not mere calendars but intricate records of astronomical phenomena that guide cultural, religious, and civil activities, from festivals to agricultural practices.<\/p>

Significance of this cause<\/h4>\n

Our endowment seeks to support the preservation of this ancient knowledge. We will fund panchanga sadases, educational programs, and training for future scholars. By bringing together experts in computational jyautisha and dharma shastra, we ensure the accurate transmission of this critical cultural and scientific heritage.<\/p>\n

With few experts remaining, urgent support is crucial. We invite the astika public to contribute to documenting, understanding, and perpetuating this rich tradition. Your donation will help educate the public, support scholarly research, and train the next generation of panchanga makers.<\/p>\n

Endowment for Panchanga Jyautisha<\/h4>\n

For this, Sethubandhanam proposes the \u201cEndowment for Panchanga Jyautisha Research and Education\u201d, which will support:<\/p>\n

  1. Such Panchanga Sadases conducted by dharmic institutions or groups of high standing.<\/li>\n
  2. \nProgrammes targeted at educating both the general public and particularly students of both traditional\/cultural and modern\/civil streams regarding the greatness of our traditional panchanga-s, to give them a taste in the subject and show how seriously our ancients have taken this matter of time reckoning and how much based on scientific concepts it is.<\/li>\n
  3. \nEducating the potential next generation of panchanga makers on the calculations and dharma shastra rules required for developing panchanga-s.<\/li>\n
  4. \nCreating educational material for the above two purposes.<\/li>\n
  5. \nOther activities conducive to the above purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
